The Sparkling Gourami (also known as the Pygmy Gourami) is an absolutely stunning addition to any nano fish tank. The Sparkling Gourami is an extremely peaceful and timid fish. They display colors of gold, red, blue, and green. Under the right lighting, they really display some amazing colors. They prefer shaded tanks as they are originally found in rice patties in Cambodia and Thailand.
The Sparkling Gourami will reach a max length of 1.5 inches. They are accustomed to shallow water with lots of vegetation. They prefer a planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots.
