Remarks: The Green Face Peacock (Aulonocara saulosi) hails from several locations around Lake Malawi, primarily in the Mozambique coast. These fish are from the Tanzanian coast on Undu Point. Green Face Peacocks are unique from other rock-dwelling Aulonocara in that they do not maintain permanent territories. Males roam in search of food in the sandy beds between reefs, and spawning can occur whenever a female is encountered.
