The Merah Rasbora is an amazing fish with a great temperament. They are very timid so this makes them a great addition to a shrimp or snail tank. The Merah Rasbora can reach lengths of just under 1 inch. Their scientific name is Boraras merah.
We recommend keeping these fish in groups of 10 or more due to their timid nature.
In nature, these fish come from slow-moving black water streams. They prefer lots of leaves, wood, and rock work. Therefore, these fish are the perfect addition to a well-planted buffered aquarium (PH less than 7). In nature, the Merah Rasbora feed on microorganisms and small insects.
