Corydoras (Corys) are very popular in most aquariums due to their easy-going nature, their ability to clean up the bottom and their hardiness. They enjoy the company of their own kind and so should be kept in groups.
They have the ability to breathe atmospheric air from the surface.

Special Requirements –Â The main thing with Corys is to ensure that they do get food. In a busy community environment, feed some sinking micro-pellets to make sure the Corys get some.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility –Â They are a good community fish as they are peaceful, especially if kept in groups.
